In the 1990s Anders Sandberg maintained the top Web site for Mage: the Ascension (White Wolf Games). The site went offline years ago but the content was so good people still read it in Web archives. When I interviewed Dr. Sandberg he gave me permission to reprint pieces online from the original site. The result is Anders Mage Page 2.0.
The site launches today and I am proud of what I can offer fans of Mage: the Ascension. Hundreds of pieces were edited to improve readability and add helpful notes, links, etc. I added 3 pieces of my own. Some may think it’s presumptuous to add my own work among the masters but back in the mid 1990s when the site was active I contributed a piece, Dark Pine Lodge, that was accepted. I left it out of the new site because the quality wasn’t high enough but replacing it with something better was deemed acceptable. If you don’t like the new pieces than consider it my fee for the many hours I spent editing pieces and preparing them for the new site.
The new site is designed to be responsive so it should read well on cell phones as well as regular computers. This project took a lot of my time for months. I’m glad I can move on to other things now.
