Mass Production Ashura Temple -Refine-

Post by Sheizzel » Tue Oct 18, 2005 8:50 pm

I got this kit from KOG last week through a trade :D . A pretty good size kit, bigger than I expected it to be. Some very nice details on the Dragon Tooth, even though I was never a big fan of it :P .

Joints were replaced with original Volks MM units because as we all know, recast joints sucks  . I also added a ball joint on the grip of the shield so it can be posed slightly different than the original joint allows.

I took a picture of the Ashura and Machine Mess Auge for size comparison.

:)

Very cool to see it pinned up.

Wow, considering how big the Ashura is.... the Auge is truly huge eh?

Yep, I was about to say by having the Auge next to the Ashura does make it look smaller :P .

It's Volks. WSC doesn't make a refined Ashura Temple.

Sheizzel, if I might ask, how tall are both the Auge and R Ashura?

Yep, Ashura refine is from Volks.

John, the height for Machine Mess Auge is about 26cm and the Ashura is about 23.5cm.

Thanks Sheizzel :)

I was expecting the Auge to be about that size, but I must say, I'm quite surprised that the R Ashura is so big! I still remember my old MM Ashura prototype; my first reaction upon opening the box was "damn, it's so small!"

Heck, this one is probably comparable to, or perhaps even a wee bit bigger than the WSC kit; give or take some proportional differences.
