Intron Depot 4!!

Post by Tachyon » Sun May 23, 2004 3:44 pm

Intron Depot 4 is coming in June! Let's hope it's not a bunch of half-naked women like Intron Depot 3 was...

Please tell me I'm not the only person who remembers Shiro's good old days of landmates and mecha.

Ah, I'm not familiar with Shiro's work, one of his older anime I saw was Black Magic M-66, it was kind the cool.

I hadn't heard about this, I'm glad to see he is putting another book together, I have 1 & 2, gonna get 3 when I get the chance. The only problem I have with most of his work having skantilly clad females in it is that my wife gives me trouble about it.

I got a copy of this over the weekend. Its mighty sweet! It covers his work on various video games over the years. Finally, a break from the skinny chicks in bodysuits and more Landmates and guns!

I was pleased to see there are no scantily-clad women in #4. In the past it wasn't a problem for me but now my wife keeps an eye on the books I bring into the house.

#4 has more mecha and that's always good in my book. However, I hope Shiro decides to return to the sort of work he produced in Intron Depot 1.

I can't wait to grab this, I love his mecha designs. I still want to get 3 though, even though my wife will give me alot of grief about it

Wow, and I thought my girlfriend was being a pain for asking me to box up my "gang bang bukkake" porno videos... But man, if she gave me grief about me Shirow books, man, THAT would be bogus.

Jeez, tell your wife thats artistic nudity ;P haha

Jokes aside, I seriously hope Shirow gets back in the manga business (Appleseed 5!), and stop drawing demon horses milking cowboy girls...

Hey. I for one do not have a problem with the scantily clad women. As I have neither a wife, nor a girlfriend (deathly allergic to relationships) there is no one to brow-beat me when I purchase such filth..er um, art.

However, I do like Shirow's mechanical aesthetics, so I'm glad to hear he's gone back to the mecha in ID4. Though, I do find his fantasy oriented stuff to be incredibly unique and interesting, to say the least.
