thanks, my browser' suck, I'm too lazy to dl any japanese characters and I couldn't read any japanese. thanks a lot.
anyway, I think I did overbid and overestimate this kit. I thought it would be around 40cm plus and I end the bid at Y80,000. :( . at that height should cost around Y40k to Y50k. I'm really mad at myself . anyway thks for the info.

Aside from the issue of size.... old Kaiyodo kits just aren't very good to begin with...

No problem. The numbers should show up even without japanese characters enabled in your browser. That page you linked shows scale, dimensions, release date and price.

It is a resin kit, sculpted by Masahiro Oda. List price at 49K yen, 34.5 cm tall, 105 parts.

The kit is featured in Factorys, MH saga, HJ Ex. Winter 89 and 90.

The kit is very stiff. I won't take it even it is free. don't let the scale of 1/48 attracts you. Compares to the sculpt made by Volks, this kit doesn't come close. It really defines the meaning of robot.

then i guess there are both types - resin and vinyl?

look closely at the words on the box - it clearly says vinyl. these pictures are from the links above.

can't be both. either some parts are vinyl and some other parts are resin, or one of us made a mistake. Some Kaiyodo kits back in those days are vinyl, such as the Led.

I never pay attn. to this kit because the volks kit are so much better. the pose is so stiff that it's unnatural.
