Dunbine?

Dunbine?

Postby Akuma Sephitaro » Sun Jun 12, 2005 12:02 pm

Would anyone be interested in pictures from the art books I have (As well as some manga, not sure if they're doujinshi or not though.... ) Although one book has two mecha I hadn't seen before in it, not sure of their names, either...

There's alot of neat stuff in these books, I just wish I could read it...

Though right now i don't have a working scanner, but I'm thinking I can get some good shots with the digi-cam and fix them up, it'd probably look just as good...

Anyone?

I was thinking of doing a Dunbine section a while back when I was watching my way through the TV series. I don't have much material to scan for it, though. I'll take a look at what images you can capture.

As a big Dunbine fan (summarized all 49 episodes at www.mahq.net) I'd love to see some images if you could scan them. Kogawa's a great artist, hopefully they're from him :)

That would be super cool. I have just recently started watching the Dunbine series. I think it is really cool. My girlfriend actually liked it also, strange cuz' she is not really an anime fan. After watching the first couple of episodes together, she wanted watch a couple more. Holey smokes, I really like the Mechs. I like the mix between robotics and insects. Cool designs. I see lots of similarities between Dunbine and FSS. It would be super sweet to have a Dunbine section on Gears as long as it does not take away Tachyon's time from FSS updating. In my opinion Dunbine would be a cool update to Gears.

Here are some, wish I had a working scanner (only a few really look like they were scanned... )

These are from Aura Battlers 2 (B-Club Special ) Except for the last two, I forgot the name of that book, but they're the only Dunbine pics in it

Still need to get pictures from the Roman album (I've got two of these, actually... Kinda tempted to cut one up to scan, but alas, no scanner.... )

Maybe if I bug the BF enough, we'll get a scanner :D

(This one reminds me of something from FSS, I think it's one of B-Clubs or some such )

Is it Aura Phantasm?

If so, that's the first book, and I want it! lol

And the pics are hosted at photobucket... Do they not work for anyone else?

damn, I NEED that book *kills you and pretends to be you so she can get it*

Both books were made a year apart I think... Not too sure how common it is, though...

If you have a scanner, get some pics out of it?

Thank you for posting the pics. Very, Very cool. If you have any more, keep em' coming. The art work kind of reminds me of the fronts of the FSS wave 1/100 plastic kits. I love the detailed art of the battle scenes. I wonder if Nagano was also a Dunbine fan? So far I am loving the Dunbine series. Although I must admit it can be kind of trippy. Very unique though.
Thanks again.

The ones I've got I got from E-bay....

They don't show up often enough....

Also, I'll try to get some more pics (and still whine about wanting a scanner..... )
