Intelligence on MH Phantom?

Post by Vincent Valentine » Fri Mar 04, 2005 11:22 pm

This is one mystery MH to me.

Their allegiance? HL? I know that the white sees action, and I'd really like to see what their HL look like, or whatever.

Does anyone have a clue?

hitori gave us good info on this right here on this message board. Basically, the Phantoms were built by and serve the Fillmore Empire.
White: Naias Brunhilde, Filmore Nueu Syltiss White Group Leader
Black: Madora Moirai, Chevelier of Rose
Red: Ena Dai Gu Filmore, Former Hyper Chevelier, Former Empress of Filmore

Hrm. That gives me many ideas on what the HL of white could look like.. but of course, I can only take guesses.

Many thanks. I thought that they'd be in league with Sirens.

Phantoms are original MH's designed by Dr. Valamidn Sharps of Filmore Empire.
There may be similar design philisophies but Phantoms are not part of the Siren Series.
Currently 3 units are known to exist.
Of which White and Scarlet has appeared on the battle fields of Hathuha.

And these are their Headdliners...

More info on Naias Brunehilde:

In Characters 11: Smoke Walls Naias Brunehilde is called the Blanche Knight (White Knight) of Fillmore. Does anyone know what this tittle signifies? Or is that simply what they call the leader of the White Group?

Actually Naias is not the White Group leader at this moment (I'm not sure if she gets to be leader later). The White Group leader is ジャンシー・ガラーGyancy Galla (Heaven Position) who pilots a Siren R.

As for the Phantoms, other than the minor difference in decorations (red & black has the Knight Master emblem) and accessories (shields), notice that the horns point in different directions. White has the horns pointing backwards, black has them pointing forwards, and the red points sideways and outwards.

Anyone noticed any other diff?

Rubel, you have GOT to tell me how you type Japanese text into your messages. I really want to know how to do that! Please!

Hitori, my deep thanks for showing me the White's HL.

It'll be a great help for my diorama.

I'm glad that such devoted FSS maniacs are here!

The knee armour, the ankle armour and the heels also differ. So do the stabilizers .. at least between the red and white.

Oh man, I've thought Naias was the leader all along when Smoke Walls says Galla is in ENGLISH no less.
Thanks Rubel!
I've updated the pic in my previous post with correct info.

Inserting kana?
オキストロ
I just type it in the Japanese IME and that seems to work...
You can install it from the Windows Update site.

No problem ;). Actually, i didnt really type those out, i copied from elsewhere  :D .

However, I do have IME installed in my PC and i'm able to input Jap/Ch characters. I didnt really used online updating for the IME install, guess my method is different from hitori's.

juz fyi, my PC is using the common English (US?) keyboards, installed with English WinXP Pro (Win2000 definitely works as well, i can vaguely remember myself using Win98 with IME but I'm not too sure on this one :P). So basically, even if u r using "English" Windows, u should still be able to install the IME pack and type in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc using the common keyboard.

1. For WinXP, goto Start> Settings> Control Panel> Regional and Language Options.

2. In the new window popup, select the Languages tab and click on Details.

3. Click "Add" and select the language pack u want.

*U probably need the Windows installation CD and need to reboot ur PC.

I did a screen capture, hope it helps

どうもありがとう!

That's great. Now I can do it. Thanks so much. The next step is to figure out putting it into HTML pages on the Gears site.

I'm not a web programmer, but I know that if I put

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text-html; charset=utf-8">
inside my header tags, i can have multiple languages in one webpage. ;) need to save the file in utf-8 ...

--------------

i did a little checking - ur message board uses "charset=iso-8859-1", a more common charset, yet it is still able to show jp characters. And ur webpages are in utf-8 already, so u can probably put in the jp text and it should show correctly.

So just to be absolutely clear, here comes a stupid question: Naias Brunhilde is female?

yes, Naias Brunhilde is female.

She is the female Knight that shows up at the end of Book 11 during the side story Promenade with the dark hair kinda gothed out....skulls and stuff on her outfit.
