Phwoar! Im out of my field here but that is looking real nice to my eyes - I always liked the FSS stuff but found them to be a little STIFF when it comes to the standard pose - is this a Modified pose or how it came?

Black? It seems a bit metalic in the pictures I have... I kinda think the black would look awkward...

WSC Speed Mirage is a fixed pose kit. YP is building it in the standard pose.

There is such a thing as a metallic black you know. :P

Whether you go with black or a lighter metallic, I really think you ought to consider spraying it. After all, it's a very big part(s), and it's very difficult to do a metallic color without streaks on such a large piece.

I made my dad get me some Gun Metal after work since the HS is on his way home.... But I might do the black now that I see it *shrugs* I'll figure it out, I'm sure....

And no, I didn't know there was a metallic black :p (Too many colors! O.o )

Hi guys,

I appreciate all the comments about the work. I thank you~
And SteamTrooper, as KOG said, the kit is fixed pose, and
I haven't done any modification to the kit.

Well, I have finished the SpeedMirage today.. hehe..
This kit is hugh! Not just the buster launcher, but the
overall height is quite impressive as well. You can see the size of
this thing in the second picture, compared to other MH...
Look how small Junon is in between Speed and Schpeltor :)

For comparison purpose,

His Speed Mirage seems to be at a deeper angle.

It could just be the angle in which the support was pinned to the kit.

Hi guys,

Thank you for the kind words.

Yeah, I did think about building another one, but apparently I am not allowed to work on another kit for two weeks according to my gf... We'll see^^

As far as the linked kit goes, from what I can tell, the guy modified the right leg... it is bent further and kicking higher... and the whole thing is just pinned at lower angle.

Oh, BTW, there is one joint that is posable in this kit... I didn't realize this until I was putting the kit together at the end... You have option of tilting the right shoulder... the female joint is somewhat bow-tie shaped; hence, the right should can be attached to the square male joint so that the right arm/launcher can be positioned almost parallel to the ground...

Me thinking Last Junon right now^^
