Message Board Ranks

Just for fun, I was thinking of adding ranks to this message board based on how many posts a person has made. Here are the proposed ranks:

1 gearhead
10 rookie mechanic
25 repair crew
50 head technician
75 rookie pilot
100 skilled pilot
150 ace pilot
200 squad leader
250 bridge crew
500 mecha expert
1000 mecha guru

What do you guys think?

Meh...it might be a good idea, but from my experence, spammers will start appearing.

I was thinking of following the example of the Gundam Watch forums. If people start making spurious posts just to raise their rating that wouldn't be any good.

Thanks for the input. I'll wait and see what some other people say before making a decision.

Hey, I think hey are good, but I dont like the highest rank: Gundam Guru... You might also want to put in there Newtype Talent, Vet, etc...

And as for spammers, just ban them. On this board, there arent too many people (no offense), so a warning and then banishment would be the best way to go. Besides, I dont see the benefit in posting so much that you go up a rank... idiot spammers...
