Thanks for the pics :)
I didnt realise the other 1/144 was not the wave, i just assumed it was since they make more 1/144s than any other company, i knew about the Tani. The Tani one looks wrong too me ( big head much?) but the other one... that cant be fan made can it? Someone in factorys needs to hire that guy pronto, its incredible. Were there any other 1/100s made? The Volks MM one has nice proportions but looks like an older kit.

The other 1/144 is scratchbuilt for a contest held by Wave(Factory Aliiance Challenge) back in August 29th/2004. It's a gathering of sculptors showing their sculpted FSS related kits. The kits exhibited at this event was granted a sale at a very small number of kits.

Volks MM Last Junchoon is the only 1/100 made and it is an old kit.

To steal this topic for a moment: you would think after he painted the first Lambo w/ that ugly sub-way yellow color, he should have the imagination to a different color at the 2nd Lambo? Apparently not. :D

as to this guy, did he really buy two naplam? that's a lot of money, and I didn't expect the shield look so good w/o the transparency effect.

Perhaps one or both Napalms are recast.

A rare Japanese who buy recast? That's odd.

Not as odd as someone buying 2 copies of a kit that cost $700+ apiece, and then painting over the clear armor on one copy with opaque paint...

One is a Raid Gig Led Mirage V3 from Volks. The Inferno Napalm was based upon this kit. There was a "making of"-dairy for both models on the old Volks homepage.

Interesting little point there, the Volks shop has/had the KOG GGI marked as NEW and the price as 2800 Yen! Its out of stock now but does anyone know more about this? Low cost reissue or just overstock?

Edit: Just translated the page... Apparently Volks made one last batch of these and sold them off at a cheap price before doing away with the kit. Looks like its never gonna get reproduced again. Well hopefully it should mean there are a few cheap ones knocking around.
