The only other kit I know that has a cockpit was Volks LED V3. It was surprising for me at first to see it on other kits, especially an Engage :D .

BTW, you guys may have seen the list of contents of the Factories book http://www.toyspress.co.jp/storystore/d ... S-516.html . It seem like a huge collection and cheap for the price of this book.

I noticed that Hydra Mirage appears under WSC's list. I wonder what's the story with that?

Ha great ! Thanks !

I'd like to have seen the Siren E in that book, oh well...

Can someone translate quickly what it says ?
I mean the number of pages of each section. If the book is 116 pages which 65 are for the new Kog I don't care much (I guess it's 35 pages of KOG building manual and +-65 about all the kits, but at the end it's written p. 104, p. 112 which is confusing, as I don't think the sculptor's presentation reqquires 112 pages or something like that).

Those are probably page numbers, not total number of pages for that section.

The KOG section starts at page 35, for a total of 48 pages. But since it is the assembly instruction for this kit, the page number for this section will start from pg 1.

hmm I wonder why the assembly instructions are included? Juz to entice us into getting the kit?

Thanks for the precision^^

48 pages ?
Mmh... :| :?:

Almost half the book just for one kit :|
So this would mean p1~34 : KOG instruction
p35~48 : Tani's KOG section
p48~103 : all the other kits
So other kits get 1 page each, oh well, I think I'll buy it anyway but that whole KOG section bothers me.

Can I be a bit more boring ? :D
Any idea what the size of the book is, regular A4 ? Bigger like Smokewalls ? Smaller ?

errm, sorry for the confusion.

I think (from what I see) it should be:
p1~34
page 35 : Tani's KOG section (48 page instruction. Page number start from 1 instead of 35)
p??~103

yeah, it's about A4.

I don't think anyone would mind the coverage on Tani's KOG. Afterall, this is a book for models and I certainly don't mind seing more pictures.

Mmh personnally I'd rather see 2 page per kit, one full page photo and some close shots of details and back, rather than 1 page per kit and 48 for another one :|
Oh well...

M'kay Rubel, so this may be :
1~34 : 34 MH kits (there's about 34 MHs kits)
35~83 : Tani's KOG section
84~104 : figure kits (about 20 figure kits)

Considering that it is a Tani kit and a construction of the kit, that should be able to explain why such an in-depth coverage on the kit. Afterall, his work is rarely seen.

This reminded me of the book that Volks released when they made the TwinTower kit. The whole book featuring from start to finish of the build-up for Volks MM TwinTower. I guess you can easily skip the KOG section for Factories. For a true modeler, it'll be interesting to see how the whole thing goes.

The old AF Junchoon ODK also had a little fatima cockpit, complete with a mini Clotho molded in. The cockpit hatch was molded separately, so that you could even leave it open to show the interior if so desired.

Same deal with AF LED. You can build it with hatch open, or closed. Sadly... I built it a long time ago with hatch open. Now I have an urge to make it with a closed hatch, but I seem to have lost the 'closed hatch' part.

:(
