Note that page 69 isn't previewed in the first post but it is in the download in the second post.

I see Nagano still likes overly detailed meal descriptions. Hite continues to be useless, while the fatima specialists discuss what to do with Auxo and LDI-20 joins the party.

I guess I'll scan my June issue since we still only have photos of that one.

 EST with a ponytail? That's new.

Should I not be surprised that a chatty episode follows such an actionful last panel as last month's?

LDI-20 is an interesting character design. I'm curious as to what the role of these mysterious characters are...

LDI-20 is a 4000-year-old cyborg currently with System Caligula, though apparently she becomes a Mirage Knight later (Designs 1, p111). She's a MH Meight/GTM Garland and she's said she designed the Bang Doll under the name Stoi Werner. As a Mirage Knight her code name is Speck because she knows the specs for all the machines. She enters the conversation where the Fatima Garlands are discussing Auxo's peculiar malfunctioning with the suggestion that as artificial beings Fatima may actually be running on a completely different set of principles than everyone is assuming.

Got a look at the Newtype yesterday and discovered it comes packed with a floppy folder adorned with the sharp, full image of EST as we first see her in this round of The Stories. Would probably look real good in a frame, too...

Who is the guy that kind of looks like Kaien?

I'm referring to the one who has dark lips and he gets flustered when he meets Meeth--then he gets his ass kicked by the person in the cloak. Now that I mention it--who is the person in the cloak?

Thanks to all the scanners/linkers and anyone who has some explanation of this episode.

Maybe this should be a different question/thread--anyone have updates on English language versions?

Since Nagano's primary goal seems to be to show off his work to as many other people as possible rather than direct monetary gain, I imagine he will try to get it published in English again eventually, but considering that he still hasn't even gotten to the planned Japanese reprints in full A4 Wide size with dialogue retcons, it won't be happening any time soon and if it did it would probably have to start from the beginning again.

As far as fan translations go, I suspect a few of us here are technically capable of doing them, but I doubt any of us can actually commit to a project of that magnitude. Erasing Japanese and touching up scans and typesetting text bubbles gets tedious real fast, and that's not even counting the actual translation work.
