Is anyone here interested in seeing more material from 5 Star Stories on the site?

I don't know much about Five Star Stories, except that some of the designs were originally intended for various Macross series.Still I would like to learn more about FSS,I've heard it's a great series with fantastic animation. So the answer would be yes,I think it would make a good addition to the site.
Do you understand?

Then you don't know anything at all.

There is no tie to Macross and Nagano. There is a tie to Gundam and Nagano.

FSS designs were ment for FSS. There are quite a few designs recycled from L Gaim. L Gaim was Nagano's first anime. He was the mecha and characer designer. The common consensus is that L Gaim is the rough sketch of what FSS was to become.

Sorry,I got that info from on-line somewhere.IIRC,it said some of the designs from Air Cavalry Chronicles, designs by Kawamori, were used in FSS.In any case wasn't Tomino involved in L Gaim?I thought it was Tominos' post MSG series.

Nagano was a significant contributor. The Ahgama cruiser, Rick Dias and Hyaku Shiki were his. He did more but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

Nagano did 3 more mobile suit designs other than the Rick Dias and Hyaku Shiki,he also did the Quebely,Hambrabi, and Galubadly. And to tie into the whole FSS slot,in the Gundam Zeta Rapport Deluxe artbook,There are illustrations by Nagano of the Hambrabi and Quebely given a full Mortar Head/Heavy Metal look. Most interestingly is that both have the AKD Blood Cross somewhere on their armor...

The Quebely made a guest appearance as and AKD kight in body armor. That would make the 1/100th scale kit about a 1/6th scale figure.
