First Contest...

The message board has more than 40 members now and has surpassed 1,000 posts. I think it's time we had our first contest.

At this point, I think it would be fun to have a coloring contest. People could pick any line art image from Gears Online and color it themselves. I'm thinking of a 2 month time limit since people are busy. The prizes can include a really cool Evangelion toy that someone donated to the site. I'll get photos of it up soon.

What does everyone think?

Well... I dunno. I can't color very well. I don't have photoshop or anything else.

Sounds like great fun Tachyon,although I will diqualify myself from the prize since I am the moderator for the forums.But,I will submit an image,I love doing custom paint jobs.

Altron,you don't need Photoshop or the like to do a good custom paint job,MS Paint will work just fine,you just need to experiment a bit with it to find the results you want.(It's a bit more hands on than Photoshop,but it is a capable little program.)

Part of the fun is the treasure hunt for just the right line art image(s). Gears Online has a fairly good collection by now.

Also, it would take me a good deal of time to go through the site and collect shortcut links to all the line art images. Sorry, but the limited time I have should go in to cleaning up and adding new content.

Well done allround - wished I had pulled it out and entered myself but I am on my third computer in two months so it just wasnt possible - that and work work work.

Falk - what can I say that this little guy doesnt -

cept maybe - hope you dont enter the next contest - it simply isnt fair mate.. - seriously tho brilliant work.
