Ezlaser Engine Power System

The knight's cockpit goes above here, but since the entire power system is wrapped in protective gel no heat or vibration passes to the cockpit. See p175, "Terror Mirage Internal Structure".
The function turbines' output is all transmitted to the keel. As the turbine blades generate waste heat, they are not connected to the bypasses. Waste heat is expelled outside via armor slits.
Ezlaser Engine
Really small. Unbelievable that this is the core that drives a 400m starship across interstellar distances or creates a buster launcher blast.

Mother Energy Bypass
Upper two are output, lower two are return.
The final armor piece is set here on the chest. This triple-armored damper section covers the hemisphere of the engine, though as the engine itself is essentially unbreakable, it is intended more for the cockpit and surrounding systems.

The engine is suspended in gel, but the specifics of this substance are unknown.

Energy Emission Outer Wall
Energy emitted here passes through a bypass to the function turbines. To contain this tremendous energy the entire surface is encased and emitted energy is collected from all sides to be passed to the bypasses.
Core Shell Inner Wall
Energy generation takes place here. Pin shapes directed into the core seem to drain returned energy. These spikes pierce through the shell but are obscured by the core's light in the diagram.
Ezlaser Core
Almost perfectly round, it's shape when actually running is unknown.

Ezlaser Function System
Energy from the engine is converted here to energy to drive the power cylinders and motors. In horsepower it's said to amount to one trillion hp. If a human were to touch a turbine blade, he'd be ash instantly. Nearly any object from the three dimensional world would be vaporized by the energy coming off the turbine blades. Taking advantage of this produces the "Buster Launcher". The frame containing these function turbines is not destroyed because the energy is distributed before it reaches the "Buster Limit" reaction threshold. A buster launcher's long barrel contains the expanding ezlaser energy until it reaches the muzzle, at which point it exceeds the buster limit and vaporizes all materials before it. Here we have the engine system without its pressure-resistant jelly mantle. See p176 for covered appearance, "Ezlaser Engine and Function Turbines #1" (Terror Mirage).

Ezlaser Bypass
Ezlaser energy generated by the engine and regulated by the function turbines pass along this pipe to the various power cylinders. Equivalent to the aorta on a human.

Function Turbines/Generator
Performs energy amplification and conversion. The fins on either side are for output. The center fin is for returned energy. Essentially, a generator. No idea what the inside is like. While a MH's base energy is light, on initial startup or combat situations where generator recharging cannot keep up, the central fan section can also be used as an intake for a buster launcher's buster energy.
Power Effector
Converts ezlaser energy to simpler electricity, acts as a condensor, and functions as a transformer for various energies. When armored, this part is covered with organic gel, making it resemble a living organ.
Ezlaser Engine
Wrapped in a sturdy shell. Internals are above.
