Post by Tachyon » Fri Oct 24, 2003 3:58 am

Upgraded the Gundam Sentinel pages with a 4 page brochure from our sponsor.

No, GEARS Online is not above taking advertising money. :P

It's been a number of days since the last update. I should have been working on the Mobile Suits Page but the truth is I got distracted again. I have scanned and cleaned up images for all of the Gundam Girls images that I know of for Sentinel (except the fold-out posters for Z plus Humming Bird Girl and Deep Striker Girl). All of these illustrations were made by Akitaka Mika. I'll be putting up the Sentinel Girls page in a day or 2. I'll try to scan in the 2 fold-out posters as time permits.

Hey, guys! Feeling silly? Why not stop by the new Sentinel Girls page? I mean, why do we have to take Gundam Sentinel so seriously, anyways?

When I can get some time I'll try to piece together scans of the Humming Bird Girl and Deep Striker Girl. Then it's back to the Mobile Suits page for the Gundam Mk. V.

The Gundam Mk. V page was added to the mobile suits page today. It will probably take me a few days to scan the Xeku Zwei images.

Great images and info Tachyon, the Mk.V is another unit not given the coverage it deserves. What's with the two different face styles though? Is one a modified version or just a variance in the way its drawn?

I guess I should have noted that better. As far as I can tell, the other image is an alternative armor configuration that never appeared in the Sentinel story. By the way, have you been following the Sentinel translation?

I added the Xeku-Eins today to the Sentinel pages.

It was a lot of work but I finally tracked down all the model photos, fun facts and illustrations for that pesky mobile suit. Let me know if you like.

I have some material gathered for the Xeku-Zwei so perhaps I'll be able to pop that up in a few days. After that I'll try to get the FAZZ and S Gundam booster.

I added the Xeku-Zwei to the mobile suits page today.

Cleaning up those model photos takes a lot of work but it's worth it to offer the site visitors something more than the other Gundam Sentinel sites. Enjoy!

Great Xekus Tachyon, the design is intrigueing....it's kind of what the old Zaku is capable of becoming(something very impressive).Have you seen the third Xeku(the Xeku-Drei)?It looks even better than the Zwei and then there's an upgrade to the Drei, called the Xeku-Drei ADAD...don't know to much about the up-grade though,it didn't appear in Gundam Sentinel.Anyway, can't wait to see the FAZZ and S Gundam Booster,BTW,on MAHQ they calculated the max Gs the Booster type can pull....over 26Gs of acceleration...talk about warp speed, see'ya.

Where is the Xeku-Drei? I've never heard of it.

The Xeku-Drei ADAD appeared in the Gundam Wars collectors card game, the straight Xeku-Drei is an unconfirmed unit and I can't find much about it.The ADAD has what appears to be a large backpack and boosters on the back.
