A Interesting Post - Old vs. New

The post linked above gives an interesting insight to an episode of Gun X Sword that I also saw. I've heard many times that new anime fans and old ones argue a log on message boards all over the Internet. It's probably the main reason that I'm not active in online anime circles. I don't take well to people branding all anime that's more than X years old "crap."

I watch old and new anime when I have time (which isn't often anymore). Still, I tend to like the older stuff more so I guess I fall into the "old" camp.

What about you? Are you more of a "new camp" or an "old camp"?
If you don't like the news then go make some of your own.

I'm old skool!

I've been an anime fan as far back as Starblazers and Battle of the Planets (though, back then I didn't know it) my fandom peaking during the OAV boom of the late 80's early-mid 90's. There are waves of new anime that I find to be really cool, but overall, content wise, I prefer the old stuff. It just had a certain kind of heroic feel to it thats sadly missing in much of today's anime offerings.
