You know, I've seen this guy's work for a while. You would think for something like SR1, he would have started it a long time ago. After all, SR1 is an old kit, and you can see the last 7 - 8 kits he did are all new kits.

And speaking of Japanese modeller web site, is there any good one that has done some new FSS kits? I used to visit Batman's web site, but there is nothing for months, what is the scoop on that?

He did make his first Sr-1 a long time ago. This new one is the second which he's auctioning off.

I notice the back heel of the new SR1 seems to be off in the air. So the SR1 is resting on one foot and the front of the 2nd foot. Am I right?

Anyhow, he's 2nd one looks better than the 1st.

Yeah, he modified the foot for that pose which made a huge difference, I think.

Great site!

man thats one lovely SR-1. I can see why Green Nepier wants to get rid of it so his Auge will be considered "most beautiful"...(Actually, on second thought, I can't see why. That is kinda nutty you know)

It is amazing how a slight re-posing gives such a good result. I thought the normal Engage was elegant, but this is taking it to a whole new level. Great pose, great finish, and great photography. :)

The side-by-side pic of the two engages is interesting. The two different whites really changes the model significantly. Or is that just a trick of the light?

Oh, and I wanted to mention tha no one has mentioned Knight Club's Belkut. The latest Volks 1:8 offering, if I am not mistaken. Good to see they are continuing to release FSS figures. Maybe someday they will get around to making a Plastic Style Machi and Ssizz (and others).

He did do his first SR-1 with green-ish effect for the paint job. Sadly, he'll be selling this one, as someone has entered a bid of 60000yen with one day left  .

About Volks Belkut, it's one nice looking figure. Those sculptors at Volks are great, other than sculpting MHs, they can sculpt FSS figures as well as Super Robot Wars.
