Spaad vs. Speid

Post by Mr March » Fri Jan 04, 2008 4:29 am

Okay, which is which? I'm having trouble. I'm reading through the manga which seems to be using spaad as the laser sword and speid as the metal sword quite consistently. But I've read elsewhere online where they have them reversed. So what is correct?

always go by the manga.

Spaad = Laser sword

Speid = metal sword

They both have strengths and weaknesses. Spaads cut using extreme heat energy and can switch to a range firing mode, but they are delicate weapons.

Speids have the potential to do more damage than Spaads because of the mass (Speids made for Headdliner use are much heavier than normal swords...the one given to Depre as a child was 23kg!) but the physical blade of the Speid can be dulled or broken and become useless.

Thanks Nu Soard. I should take the time to correct the wiki when I get the chance. THe manga are quite consistent, despite a few spelling errors. I'm going to use the "a" from "laser" to help remember that Spaad is the laser sword :)
