Maybe people have posted on this already but I stumbled onto this today and I can't wait to watch the show-

I guess it was ineviteble that these kinds of shows would go CG, but I kinda hope Gonzo isn't involved.

All I can get from the Japanese text is that some dude from Lupin/Galient and another from Gaogaiger/G Gundam are working on it. Character designer worked on Samurai Trooper and Galient. Looks like they cradit Kunio Okawara, I cant read his Kanji but they mention Original Gundam and Vifam for the mecha designer -so there can be little doubt.
Oh, and the same guy writing it (Galient and Gasaraki are mentioned).

2007 series start! Good news for Votoms fans!

Yeah, it got me looking forward to it so much I went and torrented the "Last Red Shoulder" OVA. OAV? Anyways, it's the first time I've ever seen it w/subtitles. Great stuff!

Last Red Shoulder is my favourite entry into the Votoms franchise, it has a sort of Adam and Eve feel to it which can be seen in one of the screen caps below:

Yeah that Red Shoulder ova is my favorite thing in the series! First thing I ever saw of Votoms...
In sorta related news... Ror Revoltech fans, someone posted pics of a Revoltech Scopedog! Looks pretty sweet. For 20$ or so you could do a lot worse.

It says in the headline that these are pics of a Revoltech Votoms Concept.... So I hope they end up making these. In the meantime the Macross movie valkerie toy is looking pretty good too!
