All color images for Starfront have been scanned and color corrected. There's still some separation to do but I'm pleased with how things are going. There are a number of line art images left to scan and clean up.

The Starleaf sure looks different in Starfront!

I'm going to have to set time aside soon and type up the intro page text...

Sorry for my late reply. I'm gonna scour thru Star Front one more time - are you interested in loose sketches? The reason I haven't included them is because they show up in the OVA as tight drawings, with no appreciable changes between Star Front and Eternal Story. The remainder of the book is the photostory, and model-sheet drawings of the Star Front Characters.

Any more Starleaf or Bronz-D images? Those great planning sheet images you sent me didn't include those machines. Are the loose sketches of mecha?

Hey Tachyon:

I've got a few more pieces to squeeze out of the Star Front book. I found some tighter mecha linework I missed previously, and there are a few color mecha pictures as well. Unfortunately, the Bronz-D pic sits right on the spine of the book - man, I HATE when publishers do that. I'll check and see what design differences, if any, there are between the Star Front and Eternal Story versions of the Bronz-D.

I'll scan and clean up what I can, and send it your way ASAP.

All of my Star Front line art has been scanned. Clean up shouldn't take long as there are no 2 page spreads and very little background removal.

Jet packs and the struggle suit will be added to character pages. I won't post pages or images online until:
1) I finish my line art clean up
2) I get the 2nd batch of scans from Newton

I should add the 6 remaining FSS character profiles to the FSS pages this weekend. While working with the Star Front line art I noticed two things. First, I thought it odd that Sonoda shows us what underwear each of the three female characters wear. Is it really so important? I'm not scanning those images. Second, the level of detail that the designers put into their work is really cool to see. Detailed text notes talk about how the machines work, how to use them properly, etc. It's a shame that so many of the text notes are reproduced at such a small size that any attempts at translation are impossible.

It looks great Tachyon! All of the images are very crisp and clean.

I do have one question: What exactly is the Struggle Suit? Is it just a suit of body armor or is it needed to use the Struggle Frame(s)?

I don't really know what it is. Rumy doesn't wear it to pilot the Dies Angel.

It appears to be light combat armor with a built in, short use jet pack in the waist. I wish I had more info on the Star Front mecha. But we have to remember, it's a pretty obscure story.

Got the Eternal Story gallery page done this evening. I'll try to grind out the character pages soon. Fortunately, I've already written up the pages' text.
