Today I had my first crack at lining this kit, with the help of a new tool I got :D .

I was bore, so I drilled out those chain-like detailings behind the head of the Prominence. That and I think it looks better.

what is the difference btwn. buying those cotton swab from Gunze vs. buying a box of Q-Tips from local drug store?
If you buy a pet from pet stores , you are encouraging those breeders to breed more. This is the condition that they lives in:

when you buy a pet:

The tip on these cotton swaps are harder than the cotton swaps you can buy at stores. You can use the pointy cotton swaps for applying or wiping off paint in smaller and harder to reach areas to get a more precise finish.

That looks rad, its so clean and you nailed the colors. Is that the Volks one? (trying to find the best Prominence to build.)

Yep, it's Volks Solid Art Version V-Siren Prominence. I still think this one is the better of the two.

Maybe you'll find pictures from these sites helpful in choosing a Prominence kit to go with.

Ok I think I might try that one, so why use cotton swabs as opposed to micron pens though, it seems to me you'd have a better degree of control with like a .5 or .05 micron than a cotton swab.

I did not use the cotton swap to fill in the lines if that's what you're thinking?
