Heika.net in trouble...

Post by Nu Soard Graphite » Sun Aug 29, 2004 1:34 pm

Got word last night that Heika.net FSS website and message board might be shutting down soon!

This is a big problem, because all of the people who are very knowlegable in FSS lore post there. It will be tragic to lose such a resource.

I am posting links to this website, hoping that they will come visit here. Keep your fingers crossed; we may get some visitors soon...

Its a monetary issue.

Apparently the sites owner hasn't paid monies to the owner of the host server, so they will soon be forced to shut down the site as its cost to keep it open is prohibitive.

Keep us posted, cobywan. I want to maintain a good relationship between Gears Online and the Wax Trax crowd.
If you don't like the news then go make some of your own.

doh! just when I was starting to get back into FSS. Work has been a bear until recently, so now that I have time I hear this!

Darn!

Is there any chance of archiving the great work on that site someplace?

Plop^^

I'm here, a WaxTrax young veteran (well, 3-4 years now).

Mmh about the site content, it's good that you mention it, we should think about that and contact David (the site creator)...
(But all the theories and thoughts on the WaxTrax board died in successive server crash :( )
