CAA Model Booth - V-Siren Prominence

This guy is pretty quick.

I don't like some aspects of the paintjob... but I do really like the subtle variety of shades used for the 'internals'.

Thanks for sharing the link. :)

The internals look great, particularly the feet/ankles. The internals are so detailed (especially on Volks kits) that it is a shame to paint them just one colour. But subtlety is important.

It's good to see I'm not the only one who doesn't permanently glue a kit together. It can be really convenient to be able to partially disassemble a model like this after it is finished.

I'm sure you probably noticed, but this is actually the WSC Prominence.

Definitely one of the nicer kits from WSC in recent years, I think.

You guys like that idea too? I posted in quite a no. of threads that internal should be painted w/ more than 1 color. I think, for FSS resin kits (or gundam kits w/ internal skeleton), the resin sculpting is so well done that it would be a waste just to paint one color.

Not to mention if the MH were real, surely the mechanical internal parts would be composed of more than 1 color. So it makes sense to use more than 1 color.

Viewing his work, I notice he cut the shouler blade of the zakker. A very unusual choice.

That's because he built the other Zakker variation. From the artbook illustration. It's not supposed to have the blades...............

Ah...I don't think I have seen that variation. My resources on manga is quite limited.

It's not IN the manga. It's only in the artbook.
