Blah. Someone should tell them to do that to their recast of the 1/100 WSC KOG.

I'd like to see a Siren F from WSC actually. Or even a Siren D or Siren Alkana. WSC doesn't offer any medium or heavy Sirens so far...

Or even an Engage mk II to complete the Engage series. :(

Which is funny, as WSC strongest sculpture skill is w/ big bulky kit. So Alkana is something they should be good with, although i find the Volks ver. is very good.

As to Siren D, I can't see anyone beats the dynamic pose of the siren D. WSC doesn't make dynamic pose.

===========================

Going back to Sheizzel's topic, comparing apple to apple w/i the 1/35 category, I notice their GP03S, only the thumb is moveable, the other 4 fingers are one resin part.

Can we assume the same thing? But if so, how can it hold the sword? Even Bandai 1/60 Perfect scale has individual moving fingers, so w/ 1/35, I most definitely expect individual moving fingers, but doesn't look like it is.

The details is not remotely close to good if we compare this 1/35 KOG AT w/ Volks 1/35 KOG. Go to one of the thread that I post a yr. ago on a HK fellow under Kyy w/ his posed 1/35 KOG.

However, having said that, it's better than their ugly 1/48 Bang doll, the proportion of that one is just trash. But at the end of the day, we can do deeper sculpting (mod) on the details, so if you want a reasonably good 1/35 KOG AT, you have no choice but to stick w/ g sys., and I think g sys knows that, which is why they know if the sculpting job is half - ass, people will still buy them.

But I like the eye mask.

The Speed Mirages Ikushima did are pretty good, and those are thin MHs.

KOG AT

I believe they really did not do a whole lot.
It is so so to me at this point.
It is almost hard to go really wrong. They have machines to blow up kits. And adding a few extention or thickening is probably not too hard. Like the max factory please teacher little set. In that case, they shrunk it from their corresponding g kits.
Bang doll, I believe was made this way. And it is sad. Cause what is good for a 1/100 will not be enough for a 1/48. Further, it is just not as detailed and fine. The hands/fingers I think is the only part that outdo the 1/100.

Back to the KOG AT:
I always believe the lachesis and AT are very different kit. When you do a few adaptations to mod into another, one of them is usually bad.

the arm originates from the lachesis. start with thin arm, but when the elbow armor and shoulder enlarged, it seems thinner.

I believe this is a blow up version of the MM volks. and extend the center "horn". I'd like to see less of the face, more evil, like the way it was illustrated.

Did they bother to change the skirt? and the shoulder blade?

The mask? I hate it. Completely lost the spirit of 1/35. I want some internals. From vol.8, the mask is a new add on to the old face. I would expect to have at least three layers here, not one merged piece. Well, just a blow up version.
Just don't expect it is something that "makes a mark" like when the original 1/35 came out.

All in all, it is not so bad to me. The original is made to have a meaner proportions. so it fits well with the AT, otherwise, it can be diasterous. just not one kit that is made with lots of "heart".

I rather have G sys. charge $1700 like their GP03S and design a good kit w/ internal skeleton than this $900 half ass kit.
