The Kaiyodo one is vinyl.

Speaking of these half price item, is G system doing okay? What's the scoop with G system vs.

http://www.g-system-models.com/ENG/eng.htm

The two web sites looks identical, but they now seems to be 2 different co.? If there is a fall out between partners, we need to know before we buy anything.

You can go to g-system-shop.com and you can read the "juice" btwn. them and g system models. But the juice doesn't say much.

Because they treated your order as pre-order. Pre-order entitles 5% discount.

Not sure how many of you can read Chinese. Here is a link to a 1/35 KOG without buster launcher. The kit is 1/35 KOG from G-system (also known as new-g in HK).

Yes I'm.... well aware of that. The point wasn't whether I got the kit for full price (20000 yen) or whether I got it for 5% off (19000 yen). The point was that it cost me less than $250. It still would have cost me under $250 if I'd paid the 20000 yen price.

Just one of many, many kits which costs less than $250. Making Happy's statement, and I quote: "There is no FSS GK less than $250, unless you only buy recast." seem a bit... erroneous.

manual

I have a copy of that manual. I remember some years ago I made copies of that and sent out to a few people. The illustration was supposed to be released only with the 1/35 kaiyodo led mirage. Then, later some of the pages in there was cropped out to be released in "Mirage", the first character book. A small print of the cover is included in the Episode guide. The rest of the manual is mostly data, tables of led mirage info as I remember.

Hi, Zchen! long time no contact... :)
As for which one to get??
I think it is rather your preference. which design itself appeals to you more. They are both very very good kit. (I am very very picky as you know. Led's head didn't bother me. I actually find it unique. You have mortar headd saga, you'd know.) Kog is bigger than the led though. The fact that it is in gold color seems to create more surprise in that size. With one, it seems kog has a bit more "ultimate" presence. Besides, KOG was never sold with discount price in original kit. so its price is always higher.
