Mecha Web Site Diplomacy

Post by Tachyon » Fri Feb 17, 2006 2:47 pm

Are there any people here who know people at MAHQ? I'm considering offering them copies of my hi-res Tyrant Sword images as a peace offering between our 2 Web sites.

Heh heh. No, we're not at war. I've never known of any ill will between our 2 sites although I didn't enjoy my posts on their message board being censored.

I just wanted to try and start a friendly relationship between our 2 sites. They're a big site so they may not want to bother with small potatoes like us but if we have something to offer them... Who knows?

I've seen a lot of images being offered and used at MAHQ of late , I don't post at their forums anymore , but , I do still lurk there and most people just post their submissions to the Site Feedback forum in the form of a link to photobucket or whatever account they use to store images . The topic is ussually " Lineart Submisssion " followed by which section its' for .
Do you understand?

Damn! They've got a sweet deal going! I have to scan most images myself.

Well, I think I'm going to contribute Tyrant Sword's images with your name and this place. Of cause, I will ask them to link here as well.

So will you give me a permission?

Let's give it a try. Let me know what happens afterward.

Alright, I posted the main lineart of each MS there. But it usually take a week or two for Chris's reaction.

http://www.mahq.net/links/links.htm

Gears Online is now linked from the MAHQ Links page. The line art images I scanned/cleaned up are also now a part of MAHQ's Tyrant Sword section.

I want to take this opportunity to say a big "thank you" to Kuruni. You took the time, you put out the effort and you helped Gears Online. I'm glad to have a helpful, thoughtful person like Kuruni here at the Gears Online message board.

I'm now hopeful for future opportunities to work together with MAHQ.

I added links for Gunota Headlines and MAHQ today. I also cut 3 links to reduce clutter.
