FSS and WWII

Post by Akai » Sun Mar 05, 2006 12:58 am

In the "setting" page of Gears, I noticed the planet "Ohama" (2nd planet star "Southern")....

Ahem... I think you should change it to "Omaha"... even becouse the 3rd planet is "Juno" and the 4th is "Sword"...

WWII ... normandy... the codenames for the five landing beaches where:

utah,OMAHA, gold, JUNO,SWORD

(just puzzling searching for planets Utah and Gold !!)

Oh, yes, ... First volume... Planet Addler, kingdom of Bastogne ... (main city location for the "battle of the Bulge") :?

But in the back of Knight Flags on the page detailing the Joker solar systems it says "Ohama / オハマ". It says the same thing on page 17 of FSS Chronicle 2005.

I'll admit it says "Omaha" in the Star Chart in the back of Joker 3100 and on page 76 of English issue 1 (first edition). I just thought Knight Flags and Chronicle 2005 were more authoritative since they're newer.

Are there any other opinions on this, folks?

For our own sake I think Omaha does in fact make more sense.

Its not something to fret over terribly though.
