Did you just post this on Scifi-Meshes.com? I saw it first there.

ROTFLMAO! :D

This is great! It was just as funny to read the confused replies from the star-trek-star-wars-only people on Scifi-Meshes.

You know, I thought you were serious. You cruel, cruel person...

Bwhaha. But it was hilarious once I realized it was a complete joke.

BTW Rubel, did you post this on scifi meshes too? or was that someone else?

I was amazed at the negative reaction to anime on that string...

nope thats not me

i guess he's/they're irked by some of the "hard selling" done juz to make a certain series popular. He's not entirely wrong tho, sometimes when i flip thru an anime/modelling magazine, i feel like i'm reading a book on Gundam SEED.

Oh well... :)

The weirdest was from a boy who wasn't even born when EVA first ran, and had never seen either the original MG or EVA.

For the first time I am getting to active dislike of everything from Wing on. If the hype has poisoned the public discourse, then that is a problem (it was weirdly like talking about Enterprise with trekkies)...
