Happy 25th Birthday Gundam!

From Gunota Headlines:
It was on April 7, 1979 that the very first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam, "Gundam daichi ni tatsu!!" ("The Gundam Stands On The Ground!!"), was broadcast in Japan. 25 years later, the impact of that one show is as great as that of any single anime title in history. Yoshiyuki Tomino, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, Kunio Okawara, and the rest of the creative minds behind the original series influenced a generation.

Happy 25th Birthday, Gundam.
Didnt really know, just saw it. As a huge Gundam fan, it just makes me very, very happy. I hope Gundam stays with us till the destruction of the universe, long live Gundam!

Happy birthday, Gundam! I think we'll all be around to celebrate the 50th birthday and I doubt Gundam will be any less popular then.
If you don't like the news then go make some of your own.
