Kaiyodo's Yen-Xing measurements; supporting stick

Post by junchoon » Tue Oct 23, 2007 2:45 am

hi guys,

any of you have the measurements for Kaiyodo's Yen-Xing? how high and tall is it if including a supporting stick which connect the model and the base?? does the original Yen-Xing comes with a supporting stick? my original kit does not have it.

thanks,
wps

according to those magazine, the ht. of the yen xing is 32 cm. But my guess is that ht. is not including the stand. The base (w/ the chinese word) must c/w the kit. But does the stick c/w it, someone else who own this kit has to answer it

I don't think it's necessary to follow the measurement that includes the support, if there's even one. It's fine as long as there's some space between the Yen-Xing and the base. Just go by what you think that looks right

I could be wrong, but I don't think a support was ever included? I think you can just get yourself a 3mm brass rod and use it as a support.

hi guys,

thanks for the reply. so i guess i do have a genuine copy of Yen-Xing. yeah, i saw 32cm too, and i suspect it is the height of the kit, not including the base. just wanted to get confirmation. thanks.

cheers,
