Dropped by Kinokuniya yesterday to see if the latest NewType was in and had a huge fanburst. On the cover...it looked like the thing from Gothicmade...but had an L-Gaim Mk II spin on its design! As it turns out, it's another mech (coincidentally named MK II) from the film, and like its predecessors in L-Gaim (Mk II) and FSS (Germansomething), it converts to a jet mode, as can be seen in the two-page spread comparing FSS' design logics to GTM's*.
Or so I thought...the prominent ship in the screenshot was not exactly this GTM in flight mode, it was yet another...patterned after still another Mk II descendant, The BANG! Little red guy on the shield & all! Groovy! The distant "jets" in the background seem to be other MK IIs, escorting it, perhaps?
*A short time ago, you guys released the intricacies of MH construction to the English-speaking world, in which we learned about certain feline-named infrastructure...this lineup of six mechs (Kaiserin, a Red Guy, MK II, Machine Messiah Auge, LED Mirage, The Empress) noted the Frames of each. "Tiger", "Panther", and other Big Cat names were thrown around and even one of the mechs on either side of the Nagano'verse shared the same frame; I think it was the Kaiserin and Empress.

Re: "SAY MARK-2!"
It does seem like Nagano is borrowing a lot from his own work with Gothicmade, right down to the robots only being pilotable by lightsaber-wielding supermen.

Re: "SAY MARK-2!"
has anyone seen GothicMade yet?
I'm just wondering if it actually fits somewhere in the FSS universe or is it simply another one of the alternate universes that Lachesis could end up visiting...

That would've been so COOL! It would be GREAT if we got to see more of her interdimensional adventures before this thing wraps.
Towards the end of the article appears an illustration (screenshot?) of an ornately dressed chick with Lak's hairstyle and her back to the viewer, but I doubt that's her.

Re: "SAY MARK-2!"
Apparently the GothicMade prologue has cameos of suspiciously-familiar characters and robots adjusted to fit the setting.
My understanding is that it's not explicitly part of FSS; it doesn't have fatima and all the names for things are different ("warcaster" instead of "headdliner", etc.), but considering the crazy stuff Nagano's managed to work into the story already, it's close enough that he could force it in if he really wanted to. I mean, we had a pair of medieval knights riding a dragon and a griffon to fight an evil wizard in Chevaliers.

Re: "SAY MARK-2!"
It would not surprise me if GothicMade happens sometime in the millenia after the fall of the Super Empire, but before the formation of the Joker Calander. You know what MH in the FSS universe looks somewhat like a GTM to me? The MM: Auge. Hopefully Nagano will come clean on the subject at some point in the near future.
Now how the hell am I going to get myself a copy of this? Hopefully the Blu Ray will come out in a few months. Now I am more glad than ever that North America and Japan are in the same Region for Blu movies!
