Foreign languages in The Stories

Post by DYNAKYRIS » Thu Dec 15, 2011 3:41 pm

I've noticed that Japanese, English, Chinese, German, and what looks like Wingdings (URI-speak), appear at one point or another across the tales.

For Ssizz'z first moments in TRAFFICS, John Wisnom provides us with Japanese text and its Romanization; how exactly did the Japanese publications handle that curveball of her speaking Japanese for native readers? Furthermore, how'd the Chinese edition emphasize that the "foreign language" used by the Super Empire was, in fact, their own?

The French and German have been a bit difficult for me as a FSS fan. I have never seen the Chinese editions.
If you don't like the news then go make some of your own.

Actually, if you see a scan of the original japanese edition, they are speaking in english. In the english editions they switched the english to japanese. So the
Lown language is actually english.
