FSS Pages - Minor Update

Post by Tachyon » Fri Mar 16, 2007 4:13 pm

Thanks to all who helped with my recent FSS questions. This weekend I'll post additional images for Knight of Gold and Green Demon. I'll also post the School Designs material. Rumor has it Nu Soard is working on some more profiles, too.

Dang! I'm having a real problem with these Green Demon images. When I resize them for the Web there's no way to make the text notes legible. A complex machine indeed!

A big "thank you" goes out to Falk for image clean up for the next batch of FSS character profiles. I need to clean up a Rognar image and then code the pages.

I've got a great diver article from Nu Soard but I need to make some progress with the Gall Force pages before I post it.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to contribute stuff for Vosjathfort or The Empress of Flame (the woman) I'm all ears.

As requested: An article on the Empress of Flame. It is a bit lengthy, and requires some proofreading. Cheers!

Nein, the Empress of Flame, is the daughter of the Violet Emperor Arhat and the ninth ruler of the Farus Di Kanon Empire. She founded the line of the Holy Shamans of Atoll; they are her spritual descendants, in a sense. The Flagship MH of Atoll is modelled in her likeness, and its pilot is the keeper of the title 'Nein's Chivalry'.

Her reign took place at around AD 5000, and the Empire's power peaked under her rule. Among her most notable achievements was the signing of the peace treaty with the Dragons of Both and the creation of the Chivalries. She left shortly afterwards with the finest of her knights to investigate the mysteries of Stant, and was rumoured to have perished.

As it was, she returned to Kallamity Godarce in AD 8383 to free the awakened Swans from the mind controls placed on the Chivalries and destroyed the nation of Sparkla (?) in the process for attempting to ressurect the Farus Di Kanon Empire. She then entrusted Swans to Ladios Focuslight and once again left the Joker Galaxy.

Nein will make her first appearance in the Joker Era in JC 3030 near the beginning of the Sorcerer Wars, when a dying Megumika invokes 'The blood Summons' to summon Nein from the netherworld, using her blood, Kaien's blood and all the Water of Life from Yan Qie, the immature form of the Golden Dragon. She then proceeds to immolate the Holy palace in Hathuhunt, reinstates Funfuto Atoll as the Shaman of Atoll and entrusts to her the task of raising the Savior of Taika, who was yet to be born at the time. She will eventually meet Amaterasu and impart to him the secrets of Joker, in particular those which contain Stant and its last planet, Buster.

As a member of the Royal families of the Farus Di Kanon Empire, Nein is a Diver Forcess, and consequently capable of performing Parasimul, Diver Power, Highbrain and Alchemy. Her preference for pyrokinetics earned her the moniker of 'the Empress of Flame', and is best exemplified in the burning of the Royal Palace. As the genetic base from which the Chivalries were created, all pureblooded knights share a link of kinship with her on a subconscious level; Swans even goes so far as to call her 'mother' at one point!

To extend her life, she has since transferred her consciousness into an crystal's energy matrix; because diver power is a manifestion of a person's mental will, she is able to retain all her vast abilities. Her appearance in human form in Ad 8383 is actually an' alias', as she no longer possesses an organic body. However, even her technology cannot resist the effects of time; by the time of the Sorcerer Wars, she has long since died. All her appearances in JCare a manifestation of herself from the netherworld through Yan Qie, similar to how Amaterasu no Mikoto can sometimes assume a spectral form to assist the AKD.

As a result of her experiences, Nein has a vast knowledge of the Joker Galaxy. As a legacy of the Farus Di Kanon Empire, she leaves 3 gifts for the Joker Era yet to come: the bloodline of Nekkadorah Swans and Fatimas, the embryo of the child of Assaram Skins and Princess Vatshu and the Daughter Chip, all of which would play a pivotal role in the shaping of the Galaxy's future.

Nein will eventually become the defining character of the events during and after the Sorcerer Wars. According to her, the real reason why Megumika summoned her was not simply to meet and pass on her knowledge to the God of Light; it is to aid humanity in mounting a 'Majestic Stand' against him should the need ever arise.

Edit: changes made in response to RC's corrections.

Actually, Empress of Flame is not the daughter of Monsorong, but of the Violet Emperor Arhat.

Emperor Monsorong is from 100,000 years ago before JC. AD century is only 1/10th of that time.

Oh, my bad. That's why I need proofreading... Thx!
Right... this one's a real monster, and needs checking too.
I think it needs to be cut down a bit...

Dis Heufzehn Bosjathfort

Ruler of the Magic Kingdom Buchtgma, this enigmatic figure claiming to be the rightful heir to the Farus di Kanon Empire appeared out of nowhere and singlehandedly brought the Holy Kingdom of Atoll to its knees. The Heufzehn (sp?) in his name refers to his self-styled position as the fifteenth ruler of the Super Empire, but there is no evidence to prove his claims; the direct bloodline of the Ruling family perished long ago.

Dis Bosjathfort makes his first appearance in JC 2121 before Amaterasu no Mikoto in an attempt to 'persuade' her to yield the position of 'Leader of Diver's Guild' to him. Unfortunately, his plans were thwarted when he was banished to the netherworld by the young Ladios Sopp using the technique 'Seventh Fall'.

Although Bosjathfort's spirit managed to anchor itself to the material world, his physical body was destroyed. For the next 900 years (approximately), he would survive only by possessing the bodies of others.

By AD 2992, Bosjathfort had possessed the body of Di Barrow, himself a powerful diver, seized control of Nation of Shiburu and is actively searching for the Water of Life from the reborn LED Dragon. Despite the best efforts of the AKD, Bosjathfort succeeds in both regaining a physical form and enhancing his already-formidable Diver powers. As a gesture of defiance to Amaterasu, he killed Bugle de Leizer, the pilot of the Jagd Mirage.

After restoring his body, Bosjathfort renamed Shiburu as the Magic Kingdom Buchtgma and began to actively recruit divers and headdliners alike. His unorthodox policy of appealing to the lower classes of headdliners and freelance divers led to the rapid growth and expansion of his Kingdom. He also recruited Decors Weissmel (the third Black Knight) as his Chief of Armed Forces and Beauty Peel (the mother of ace diver Zum) as his second in command. Together, the Black Trio (as they will eventually be known) will terrorize the Galaxy right up to the end of the Sorcerer Wars.

In JC 2997, Bosjathfort will attack and kill many Knights in Kastenpo, many of them Mirage Knights. Among the casulties is Jade Beat, mother of Magdall and Depre Atoll. This will earn him the undying hatred of Magdall, which will eventually lead to his downfall. In 3010, he will launch a direct assault in the Float Temple, killing/wounding of many of Amaterasu's finest personnel, including the likes of Lie Ex, Nu Soard Graphite and Falk U. Rognar. However, he is seriously injured in the process, and had to delay his plans as a result.

Nontheless, Bosjathfort reveals his intentions in JC 3030 when he invades Hathuha, sparking a Galaxywide conflict known as the Sorcerer Wars. He goes on to kill Murimuka Atoll and Douglas Kaien, and maims Magdall, but is again seriously injured, this time by the resurrected Nein.

Bosjathfort is currently recuperating in the ruins of Hathuhunt, and has requested Meeth to join him in his cause. He will remain a significant force until his death at the hands of Magdall Atoll, which ends the Sorcerer Wars.

A Diver possessing Diver Force with his abilities enhanced by the Water of Life stolen from Suezou, his skill is such that he can overwhelm even sorcerers from the Super Empire; he is third in power only to Magdall Atoll and the Flame Empress Nein. A display is given when he blocks a front-on shot from a buster cannon. The cloth that he wears contains a special alloy that blocks out all attempts at locating him; even Amaterasu cannot break it.

Although viewed as such by many, Bosjathfort is not actually evil in any sense; he simply wants to resurrect the Farus di Kanon Empire as 'a scion of its ruling line'. He is also aware of Amaterasu’s unearthly status, and seeks to wage war with him for that reason; in a sense, he is but another facet of the conflict between humanity and the Gods.

If there's an article on Maximum, why not? Surprising it's gone empty for so long...

Meeth Silver Ballanche

The daughter of immigrants from Karmanto, Meeth's life seems like the typical Cinderella rags-to-riches story at first glance. However, her success only serves to mask the string of tragedies that she has endured.

Meeth is one of the few characters in FSS to have their life detailed in the manga itself: she first appears in JC 2989 under the wing of Atropos (then under the alias of A.T.) as an orphaned and injured girl in the war-striken region of Tyxaihigh. After A.T.'s true identity as a Fatima is revealed, she is adopted by Douglas Kaien, who takes her on a gigantic trip around Both, ending up at Prisen Corks's laboratory. There, she will meet Kaien's Fatima Auxo, who will accompany her for much of her life, for the first time.

Shortly afterwards, Kaien enrolls Meeth in Tran National University Preparatory School (mouthy, eh?) under Chrome Ballanche's name and leaves. At this point, she may well have gone on to become an obscure footnote in Joker history, but fate intervenes when her potential as a Fatima meight is discovered. Ballanche promptly transfers Meeth to the renowned Baltic Academy, names her as his successor and dies before the year ends (yes, it is still JC 2989!!). There, she will blaze through the minimum-26 year couse in just 10 years, and is apprenticed under one of BA's most famed graduates, Morard Carbyte, in JC 2997. In the same year, she witnesses the first natural death of a Fatima: that of Intercity, one of the original 4 Fatimas, at the ripe old age of 687.

After graduating as a full meight in JC 3010, Meeth migrates to Hathuha, partly as an excuse to get closer to Kaien. After the outbreak of war, she will be given custody of the Female Kaienken and Auxo. After Hathuhunt is conquered, her safety is guaranteed by Dis Bosjathfort himself. She will give birth to Tokiko in JC 3031, leave him in the hands of Natrium Funfuto Atoll, and remain as a neutral figure throughout the Majestic Stand. In about JC 3079, she will be in Hathuhunt when the city is liberated, marking the end of the Sorcerer Wars.

As the successor to the venerable name of Ballanche, she will be offered many positions in the various Joker nobilities; however, she will only take on the title of 'Duke of Fates', the hereditary title of the Ballanche family, and even then without a proper number. Her status as adopted daughter of Douglas Kaien and mother of Tokiko, both Sword Saints of their time, only serves to enhance her reputation. She is the only person Kaien has ever feared, and even Dis Bosjathfort shows respect and awe towards her.

Meeth is of of the top Fatima meights of the 3000s, ranking with the likes of Dr. Diamond Neutral and Natrium Xing Sakurako. Her fatimas are named after the letters of the Greek Alphabet, and include Alpha, Bella (Beta) and Delta Belun. The latter is actually a rebuilt Auxo, and will retain her Flawless rating. After the 3100s, she will be one of the few Full meights remaining in Joker.

Already orphaned at a young age, Meeth will also be abandoned by Kaien, who will actively avoid her for years afterwards. Even so, she will dedicate her entire life to try to repay him, but will ultimately fail to do so. Desperate to have a child by him, she concocts an elaborate scheme using data from Ballanche's 'Maximum 46' project and Auxo to achieve her goals (see the article on Maximum for more details). Even so, she will live to see her only son die against the Satans and transported beyond her reach forever to Taika. The 'Silver' in Meeth's name is a homage to the Silver Knight, as well as a reference to the silver colour her hair turns later in life. Truly, Meeth is a pawn in the cruel plays made by the gods in their whimsical games; more than anything else, she symbolizes the helplessness and suffering of Jokerians in the greater scheme of events.

A few random facts

Kyo's speciality is the exploitation of the pulses of power created by the engine to heighten the power of attacks. This skill compensates for the lack of power in underpowered MHs, and can be used on stronger MHs to deal finishing strikes. Taught to her by Amaterasu.

After her mental breakdown, she is sent to Prisen Corks for recuperation.

After Tyxaihigh, Atropos takees to working as a teacher and computer technician in a small village in Kastenpo.

Aisha's colours are crimson (AKD Mirage Knight), grass green (Amaterasu Royalty) and pink (Princess of Codante)

Allen Branford is actually related to the mimibas. The King of Kastenpo Queen was referring to is Suezou; that's why he was looking Atropo's shoulder in the previous panel.

Maximum only fears (and listens to) Madora, because he can sense her true power.
