hmmm seems like the re-print of Factorys 01-04 got a new cover now
http://www.toyspress.co.jp/storystore/index.html
contents looks to be the same, so those who didnt get it the first time might want to get them now...
BTW, i've seen some pages of Chronicle 2007, not sure if there's gonna be much new info (probably not), but i think the more obvious addition is the Vol12 (JP) characters and i dont see any new pics.
(the new pics i've seen are only in School Designs)

Ahoy^^
Though the announcement of FSS Designs 2 enlightens my heart, like most of you I presume, I suddenly realised I totally forgot about Factories 2007...
Is it worth it ?
Factories 2004 was not that interesting but this one looks better, with more pages for the kits rather than a building notice^^.
And the 20 years of LED kit may be interesting too (even if I don't feel like there's been much evolution (except V3)... the LED's design has always been quite perfect, or at least bad-ass, right from the beginning, as well as many of it's resin representations).
Some fullpage pictures of the mighty series makes it almost worth it just by itself.
Might be nice to have those kits on paper rather than on screen

Just received Factorys 2007, can't remember someone doing a review, maybe I missed it.
Nice book, not really groundbreaking but nice anyway, I'm surprised it's stapled rather than squarebound, 'should have chosen the bootleg :þ.
I hadn't bought Factorys 2004, so I thought I'd get this one.
-About 30 pages of LED Mirage's kits history. There's a full table-list of all the kits, for a total of 59 :p There are some comments by the sculptors, would be interesting if I could read it :þ
-About 30 pages on FAC 2005 & 2006.
-About 40 pages on kits from 2004 to 2007 (10 on WSC, 10 on Wave, 18 on Volks (MH and fatimas), 3 on Kayodo).
A few critics though, some pictures seem slightly blured, or not sharp, and others could've been a bit more saturated, particularly the 3 Mighty.
And some shots are a bit annoying (plain front, or side with the big shields on both sides...
).
3/4 is still the best for such dynamic designs.
And I'd gladly trade a few LED or FAC pages for more mighty series
(ok, I'd buy a book about those 3 MHs only...)
And a certain quantity of name inconcistencies. Calvary on a page, Calvery 6 pages later :p
On the same page, the T-233 is labeled as "Boctok T-233" and "Boowray T-233".
The "Bell Creal" battleship is named "Belle Clair".
Rogner is now F.J. Rogner
for "Falk Jugendlich Rogner" (jugendliche is adolescent in German...) (Previously the U was for Ugentrig...)
Fatima La Kratoughma is named La Krautoma.
