Is there any way to see Gothicmade?

Post by Paltenon » Thu Sep 26, 2013 9:17 pm

I've been out of things for a while - so if this is something everyone knows, pardon me - but is there any way as of yet to see Gothicmade? Are there any known plans for a U.S. release of any kind, or any fansubs available? Really I'll take anything.

At present, the only way to see it is in Japanese theaters. There is no information about any sort of home video or foreign release at this time.

I would also like to see it, but from what I've heard about it, I'm not sure I want to pay for it...

There is an article about Gothicmade in Anime News Network.

The most likely reasoning for a lack of home release is that Nagano is an artiste and considers a theater experience to be the correct and most meaningful way to view his movie. For all practical purposes, Gothicmade should be treated as an art film.
