manga series

Are there places that sell complete sets of manga series? I really enjoy reading the manga origins or counterparts of my favorite anime series, but it gets so costly buying them separately. I was curious if there are any places out there that sell full "box sets" of manga (in English). Online sources are wonderful, as long as they're reputable and not some seedy chinese pirate shop.
