Waiting in Montana

Post by Tachyon » Wed Feb 04, 2004 3:10 pm

Hello, everyone. I'm in Lakeside, MT and still waiting for the Internet company to hook up my apartment. In the meantime I'm logging on here and there on other people's computers.

Is Lakeside anywhere around Yellowstone?A buddy of mine worked at Yellowstone in Montana and said it was positively beautiful there.
Do you understand?

Lakeside is right next to Flathead Lake. When the snow melts it is quite beautiful.

Yellowstone National Park is not a very far drive from here. I've never been there myself.

Reason I asked: I have a long time interest in Crytozoology-the
search for Bigfoot and things like that....Flathead Lake is supposed
to have an Ogopogo/Champ/Nessie type monster in it. Many folks
think it might be a sturgeon, which is not unlikely. I seem to recall
an 11-footer was taken out of either Flathead or a nearby lake in
recent years....
Having lived in North Dakota, though, I wouldn't blame you for
not wanting to anywhere near the lake this time of year! :)

I had forgotten about my friend Tim telling me that story. He said a lot of locals and tourists alike had seen this creature.Kinda makes you wonder what's out there in our world that man hasn't discovered.
Do you understand?

The DSL modem is working at my apartment now. I should have the Moriki designer profile finished soon.
