Grebo Guru: DW3 is in...

Post by Newton » Fri Jan 14, 2005 12:37 am

Grebo Guru:

Dark Whisper 3 is in at Asahiya. I'll be picking up our copies this weekend, and I'll let you know how much they are as soon as I get back.

First, The Bad News...

Post by Newton » Mon Jan 17, 2005 6:55 pm

First, the bad news:

Only one copy of Dark Whisper 3 came in at Asahiya. But don't despair...

Now the good news:

I reordered the second copy, and will forward it to you as soon as it gets here.

It's worth the wait. DW3 is really well-drawn (as you already know), and this one has some great Yamashita mecha design! It's a badass reference work, and the story ain't bad, either.^__^ You'll be VERY glad to have this one. Oh, and the last page says "to be continued". Hallelujah!!!

In short, I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE for the delay. Just sit tight a little longer (a couple of weeks at most), and you'll have your own copy to have and hold!

And I'm eating the cost of this one. You shouldn't have to be tortured like this, dude.

Gotcha Hookup,

Another Yamashita comic? Oooo, SNAP!

"Knife Edge", huh? I haven't heard of that one. If possible, I'd like to see some scans of it. Better yet, let me know if I can still get one! I'll take anything with Yamashita's art in it.

As to where I am, I'm currently in Indiana. Shoot me an email and I'll send you my address!

TERRIBLE NEWS! :| :| :|

Asahiya couldn't get a second copy of DW3. But, all is not lost. I am going to try to appeal to a couple of buds who might be able to get their claws on one.

I'll keep you posted.

Apologies,

Here We Go Again...

Post by Newton » Tue Feb 15, 2005 11:38 pm

GG:

I have placed an order for DW3 from Nippon Export Co. They show it as in-stock, so I should be hearing from them in the next day or so.

As I said before, just catch me up later on sometime. Or send some freelance work my way...^_^

Anyway, we'll see what the deal is here soon. You should have DW3 in your hot little hands in a few weeks!

Diligently,

Glad to help.

Now, lemme make sure that they've got the damn thing - don't count your mechas 'til they're built. I'll let you know as soon as I get confirmation either way.

Speaking of books: Does that SRW book you mentioned have the pics from the OG2 book that AslanCross uploaded? It sounds verrry tempting...

DW3 will arrive in 3 weeks.

I just got the confirmation email yesterday stating that it's on its way. When I get it, I'll need your address so I can send it to you. Email it to me when you can at:
