My somewhat impressive collection of mecha art books is now completely boxed up. The move to Austin, Texas is official. I'm confident Austin will be much friendlier to anime fans than Cour d'Alene, Idaho has been. A quick search brought up anime conventions in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin. The big one appears to be in Dallas.
It's tough to see bare walls in the room of my house that so recently held my entire collection of books, CDs, DVDs, etc. Most of my stuff will have to remain in storage for a number of months until I'm properly settled in a new house down south. I made an effort to keep the Gatchaman DVDs out to continue watching that series with my boys. Here's to better days ahead!
