I don't buy much translated manga anymore.

 X/1999
 Escaflowne
 5 Star Stories (but I'm a few issues behind)
If you don't like the news then go make some of your own.

I'm not into manga at all, but I brought a vol of 3x3 Eyes, it's good. Also check out the anime version.

-Five Star Stories (though it's hard to find in france and the P&P are OVERPRICED    )

-BLAME!, I've seen in another thread that someone reads it. One of the best manga I've seen. A rough, dark drawing style, some of the best character design I've ever seen (sometimes inspired by alien, but mixed with futuristic shapes).
I advise eveyone to read the first book alone at night, not that you may be freightened, just that there's almost no text, you have such a strong feeling of being lost in this weird, futuristic, maybe infinite and degenerated city... (though I'm not sure it's published in english  )

-Gunnm Last Order, though for now it's not as good as the first 9 books.

Five Star Stories.

Thats it for now. However I'd like to collect all the Gunm books. Maybe the Brain Powered manga as well.

A big HELLO to all in the community - this is my first post so :D to you all.

I suppose in terms of Manga Id have to say most re-read and enjoyed would be -

Nausicaa - what can I say - the best non-mech (damn almost forgot the god-machine) based manga I have seen.
Kamui - simply classic
Grey - I am not worthy - the speed and imagination is astounding to me.
Appleseed - love those `landmates`
Five Star - just stunning.
Akira - no comment.

Well probably not the best first post and I bet I missed a ton of stuff but the above are all great in my opinion. :)

Too much to list them all...(Hey, manga is quite cheap here. Usaully only 35 Bath, which is less than 1$.)

Top 5 for "now collecting"

1st : Sakigake!! Cromartie High School This serie twist my vision...Earth no longer a serious place anymore...
2nd : Berserk *SIGH* It's more than 6 years since I start collect this serie...
3rd : Masked Riders Spirit A must-have for all Kamen Rider fan.
4th : Galaxy Angel Hehehe...I'm hooked to this serie since first time I watch anime version... Girls and comedy, both are my favourite genre...
5th : Mahoromatic *GRIN*

Top 3 for "complete set"
1st : Chobits
2nd : Batman : Child of Dream (It's manga! Asamiya made it!)
3rd : Sprigan (Much better than Project : ARMS, IMO)
Justice will never lose!

In no particular order:

Mpd Psycho -- Artist: Sho-u Tajima, Creator/Writer: same,

Five Star Stories -- Artist: Mamaru Nagano, Creator/Writer: same,

Noise -- Artist: Tsutomu Nihei, Creator/Writer: same,

BLAME! -- Artist: Tsutomu Nihei, Creator/Writer: same,

Alichino -- Artist: Kouyu Shurei, Creator/Writer: same,

Trinity Blood - Artist: Thores Shibamoto (also did some artwork for FSS), Creator/Writer: Yoshida Sunao,

Yoshida Sunao, the Bushilord anime world designer is deceased at 34 yrs of age on July 15, 2004, due to complications from surgery. (Hopefully, he has some fans here.) Please check out Bushilord and look around for Trinity Blood. The latter might take you a few days, but I think it is well worth it.

...and that's it for now.
