This is my, the kid named Daisaku Kusama in giant robo.
I like the show, but I can't stand this kid. He cry too much, is a sissy.

I'm definitely in the mood for a silly thread like this, but there's far too many annoying characters to pick just one. So here's a list:

Minmay from Super Dimension Fortress Macross
the entire cast of Gundam Wing
Quess from Char's CounterAttack
Shinji from Evangelion
all kawaii or loli characters as a rule (very few exceptions)

gundam wing's casts are the worst gundam cast ever.

Gah, the list can go forever.

Of the top of my head, Shinji from Evangelion (EMO boy extraordinaire), Gundam's Amuro Rei (would you like some cheese with your whine?), Gundam 0083's Nina Purpleton (flip-flop much?!?), totally have to ditto Quess from Char's Counterattack, and the rest I've despised so much that I've repressed it through traumatic stress disorder.

I would throw Lynn Minmei in the mix, but she got the "SHUT UP!" slap in Macross '84, so I'm okay with that.

another thing is - did u guys say Minmay is irritating because of Robotech? Cause i didn't find her anywhere near irritating in the original Macross.

I've heard several Americans say they don't like the Minmay character from Macross TV/Do You Remember Love. Although she was never my favorite, I liked her character both in the Robotech and the original Japanese versions. 80's anime had several characters like her and I've never minded them.

When I was a grade school kid I kind of liked her U.S. version songs and now that I'm an adult I like her original Japanese songs.

i see.... yeah, DYRL's Minmay was abit unlikeable.

but i guess she made a very deep impression in me when i watched the original tv series, so the DYRL version doesn't register well lol... :p

Shinji from Evangelion is the top of everybody's list, it is not surprising to me.
There are so many people now like this type of personality, is like a pop sound playing in all the radio and it wouldn't go away.
I am ok with Minmay, she is act better in the movier version of macross than the TV.

Child Actors annoy me. It makes sense then that animated child characters annoy me as well. Things would be a lot better if some giant robot stepped on them.

I know the creator want put this guy in as a clown, but this guy just so annoying and useless.

I never see the original Mazinger, but from what I saw him in the new Mazinger he is annoyin. (and he is the worst character in the super robot war game, he sucks so bad)
