Armored Troopers VOTOMS: An underappreciated gem.

I've only seen the first 3 DVDS of the first season, so no spoilers, please.
This show is how a Real Robot show should be done. A tough, military-minded main character, amusing sidekicks, believably clunky mecha design, and an engrossing story...I love it.

Are the DVD's subtitled? Who sells them?
If you don't like the news then go make some of your own.

The funny thing is that Nutech (a company well-known for its Hentai imports *shudder) brought them to the US in early 2001-ish. They're very rare now, as the series is so old. You can find boxed sets on Amazon.com, but they're only available subtitled (fine by me).

When I can muster up the dough to buy this series I will grab it all at once. I like what I have seen, and I love what I have been reading about this show, Its definately a must have.
Dr. Mystico: I'll build a private army of super-apes and take over Cleveland!
Cosgrove: Don't you mean the world?
Dr. Mystico: I meant the world, yes. What did I say? Cleveland? Oh, I *always* do that!

I picked up the series a couple weeks ago at Suncoast. 29.95 for the whole series in a metal ammo box -with the Scopedog embossed on the side! Sadly it deosn't include 'The unkown red shoulder' OAV... Seeing that OAV was what hooked me on the series.
