Gravion

Any Opinions on this series. I have seen some of the designs and they look pretty cool, especially that ship with the 3 drills on the front like the USS Liberty from Super Atragon.

Its kind of a guilty pleasure

The abundance of fanservice may turn people off ;P

The mecha are usual superrobot stuff

I saw the sequel, Gravion: Zwei! recently and the "fanservice" is basically all in good fun. There's a lot of it, but not quite as much as Aika and others of that ilk.

I love this show. Classic Super-mecha action, which is what I like best in my mecha shows. A line one of the characters says is "A Rocket Punch! Its hard to get excited by a Robot without a Rocket Punch!" And thats exactly how I feel about the subject at hand. :)

I would like to see the original Gravion series as well. Is it a Tv series or OAV? It looks like an OAV to me, but its hard to tell these days with the quality of TV anime being higher than ever before (thanks to computers!)

I intend to purchase both series as soon as I move and get some extra cash on hand...

I think Gravion may be an Oobari creation. I'll check on it.
