You might want to try contacting this address: http://www.comiketservice.sakura.ne.jp/ and forwarding copies of the covers to them with a request to locate the books for you.

I'm happy with the service I've gotten from them.

Cool!

Do they list the creators in the book? or does it list a doujinshi circle?

We might be able to locate them with that information.

Rubel:

They look like doujinshi. Have you tried talking with Comiket (comic market) about them?

I have to get some work out the door right now, but I'm jumping back on Gaia Gear as soon as I'm done. I'm really glad you like the little bit I've dug up.

Ja ne,

Hitori:

Frankly, I value your position as a native speaker of Japanese. As such, you probably have a better command of the language than a translator for whom Japanese is a second language.

Keep going, Hitori. I really appreciate and value your input.

Sincerely,

Newton Ewell

Run it through AltaVista's BabelFish. Not only will it come out in more or less understandable English, but you can find the English language button, too!^_^ I just tried it -- it'll work just fine! There are both new and used copies of the Gaia Gear novels available. Let me know if there's awesome ...

Wow.

Spammed by a machine-parts place. That can't even spell it's own domain name.

Not a step up.

Vatshu available for Winamp Users...

I thought about posting this to the FSS forum, but well, see for yourself... I found a Winamp skin that's almost a Vatshu MH! It's called Shogo - if you go to Winamp.com and look up skins, type in the name and you'll get it. Almost every part of the mech has a function. Luckily, the skin comes with ...

No, it doesn't.

For proper coverage, I get both the Japanese and American issues of Newtype (money permitting, which isn't often). It's a shame, because after all this time, Newtype Japan is STILL the better magazine in terms of anime coverage, artwork and goodies.

As long as he doesn't do a George Lucas. If Nagano gets tired of it, hopefully he'll pass the torch to someone who cares about FSS.

Life in Logan is good, if quiet. I'm still getting myself together after the trip from Indiana, and am slowly but surely getting back to drawing. Kuruni, I am so sorry about the loss of your books! I would implode if I lost my reference material - I know how painful it must be for you. If there's an...

Damn!

So, a "real-type" mech with the size specs of one of the super-robots would be a dreadnought! A war-elephant like the Dendrobium is only 30 meters high - think of the firepower you could pack into a frame as large as Daitarn 3! Hmmm... I smell a project coming on...^_^
