Let Tachyon know if you want a gallery of the Aura Battler pieces. I have plenty of Dunbine material to scan if you want a devoted section.

Engage: First, welcome to the Gears site! I hope you have tons of fun. Second, thank you for the SF3D website. It's cool to have the whole listing of mecha with illustrations available. Finally, if you're in a buying mood, there's an SF3D book available at HobbyLink Japan. It's a comprehensive summa...

Bushwacker! Watching Gundam taught me to fight, and when I fought medieval style, Amuro's tactics worked beautifully. That said, steamrolling can be fun, especially if one has a superior weapon system. There's just something kinda beautiful about cleaving an opponent's mech in twain with a big-a** s...

I wasn't aware of an FSS Experts' Merit Badge (TM). In light of the fact that I don't consider myself an "average" FSS fan (whatever that is), I would say that your statement is solely that of personal taste. Personally, the design of the Green Left leg system is rather silly looking. I understand t...

KOG: Thanks for turning me on to a new website! Also, thanks for pointing out a shot of the Orange Right I've never seen before. I now will clarify my point: Considering there are no full-body pictures of the Orange Right, how can one say what is and is not out of proportion with the model presented...

All this harping on the Orange Right design... Where was a picture of the Orange Right ever published?

Although I don't own every FSS book ever published, I've never seen a picture of the full Orange Right MH. I certainly don't count the BG of Characters 1 as a good reference...

I checked HLJ again last night. There is not as yet a Yukikaze artbook. However, they are keeping their collective eyes peeeled, and will let us know as soon as one comes into existence. I got what I had hoped was the mythical book, but it turned out to be a bust. Luckily I only spent twenty bucks o...

Oh, most definitely there's a yaoi influence in Yukikaze. I guess that's the most important thing of all: The airplane gets the bishonen in the end...^_^

Fairy Air Force, indeed...^_^

Sentou Yousei Yukikaze 5

OK kiddies: I just wrapped my eyeballs around Yukikaze 5. It's a raw copy :(, but it's the most action-packed episode of the lot. What can I say - TASTY IKUTO YAMASHITA GOODNESS!!!!!!! This episode is an orgy of Yamashita mecha design, from aircraft (OMFG, the Banshee III is a BEAUTIFUL "kuchuu senk...

Were they really that good? Frankly, they were much much better. Unfortunately, what's been passing for Gundam in recent years has been warmed-over rehashes of Universal Century plotlines (the exception being G Gundam). There aren't any new ideas being thrown around; just thin excuses for more Gunda...

All mecha except the Early Zorin Soul were designed by Mamoru Ito. I haven't found the romajii name of the first designer - gotta look back in the magazines. I'll send all of what I find in a Word document called GG Notes. As you can see, the Early Zorin Soul design was based on the Jagdt Doga desig...

Himitsu: Bio-tech and magi-tech RULE!!! One of the things that made me very happy about this site is that there's no nit-picking about mecha genres. Of course, one really can't object too much to biotech mecha; even the Nu Gundam (Char's Counterattack) is a quasi-biotech machine. WHICH REMINDS ME: D...

Welll.... You'd be asking for a lightsaber, but diffr'nt(insert redneck face here). Bust out the spadd scans when you're contacted, and ask for an estimate. You can fudge/estimate the measurements by doing a side-by-side comparison of a spadd vs. a lightsaber. The dude will probably jump at the chan...

Did you ask if they can make a custom spadd for you? Hell, that's the first thing I'd do.

Why settle for just a lightsaber when you could have the "real thing"?
