Dear John, (remember that TV show?) I very much appreciate your helping hand here. Right now, it's not the technical aspect of the leg that bothers me, but rather the execution of the detailing. Let me explain: All Empress kits use the 'manga' appearance of the MH to base their details off of. As su...

Yeah.. that's freaky.. but it COULD be Jinnai.

There's Kino in Australia? Now that's freaky. What next? One here in Canada?

Oft times, it's hard for me to believe that anyone outside of our community has any interest in FSS. Then again, I see (once in a while) Fatima cosplay at AX.. and then I have to realize that Kinokuniya / Diamond surely must print more books for a bigger market than just.. the oh, handful of us here...

No kidding John. But when I first started.. I didn't have any RTV. Yes, I suck. Here they are: http://groups.msn.com/AnMsStuff/shoebox.msnw?Page=Last They're good looking.. just that I'm at a total loss as to how to detail the backside, and even.. the five recesses that run up her leg. The area is s...

<posh Brit accent> Yes, actually. It will be held on the weekend ere St. Swiven's day. We will all gather about over hot tea and fresh crumpets as we brew away in converse over the refined art of MH-ing. Therein I shalt say "No Jack, no more lumps. But I would rather fancy a dash of creme into my te...

Damn right with the Paperclips!

Heh.

I'm thinking about it, too. But there are other FSS kits besides the Phantom that I would love to get.

Jinnai's a great guy.

Rah is so unlike Eva. It's inevitable that people make the comparasons though. It's like Eva, but very superficially. I found Eva to be an imaginative, groundbreaking but VERY BADLY EXECUTED SERIES. One could say that RahXephon is Evangelion DONE RIGHT. I won't say much else, unless pressed to speak.

Hey John, Thee short answer is : no, I really wouldn't want to undertake such a heavy modification process (again) just to correct the Empress.. seeing as how I've resolved to take the extenshion and place it lower in the default leg. Long answer: It was a well executed modification on my part, too ...

That's Karl's.. from this very board.

I'm confident that it won't go for sale under USD 160.

IMO, that's a lost cause.

I owe him money as it is. Thanks for the suggestion though, nonetheless...

This is a lot to ask, but... I need some help.

Hey fellow FSS modellers. Okay, I'll cut the BS and go right to it. I was modding my WSC Empress, it having such stubby legs, using the book Plastics Style as reference. Now that the proportions are 100% correct to that book (the legs to the height) I found that the detailing that should be Empress-...

Hrm. Well, I get the feeling that Jack's been replaced by some Alien in his body.. or some strange Brain-Slug is now in control of his brain... That's no Toupé on his head. Besides Jack getting replaced by some Alien-thing who wants to actually complete and not Pokémon his kits *jab-jab* I think tha...

We all know that with my new-found life-but-not-life, I won't have time to participate...

It really sucks.

I'll see about it, but my closest and easiest to complete kit (WSC Empress) needs new lower legs.

Hey man, loving that Bang. I also like the un-black looking wash that you gave it. Very nice touch. It looks to be superior than my own kit by far. I'd like to strip down and re-do my own.. but the joints are epoxied into place, along with most of the parts... Quite a pain in the head, just to think...

According to the Nagano drawing of the old LED, the Spadd (beam sabre) is from a green > yellow > clear colour (near the tip). So 'green' is the best choice here.

Alecto is a Female Fatima. She has quite a part in Traffics, if I recall.

That section of the groin reminds me some kind of a tapeworm crawling through some vents.. it really is quite disgusting to look at. John, if I were more happy.. camera-happy as my friend Jack here, I'd take pictures of the underfoot of the SR-3 to show you. No better way of describing 'Ugly'. Jack,...
