They're not so great for service of late, and their quality has dropped. I still use them; they are sometimes more affordable (but HF matches prices), and they DO have better selection.

Does anyone have scans of the manga pages? I'd really like to see what the Jade looks like there.

I get the feeling that from the back, the Jade WSC looks very short. The legs just .. dissapear.

Maybe you mean the 1/48 Bang, John? Well, if I had the time, scratch build may or may not be expensive. Depends on the material used. One could easily start with hard foam, for instance. But that's all hypothetical. I'm mighty tempted, mind you. I appreciate these kits for their size and level of de...

I was tempted Henry - for some time. But at the end of the day, I just cannot justify spending that amount of money on a single kit.

I wish I could afford it. But if I wanted something that large.. I'd probably be better off scratch building one.

Still....

j0 guys... 'sup! Ha ha. I'm starting to hate WSC, too. Hell, I've hated them for a long time. My beef with them: 1) Very un-Nagano (and unimaginative) detailing style. Underskirt, underfoot etc. 2) Fatness. Really.... "How to ruin Engage SR-1, 101.. by Takehiko Ikushima" 3) Short legs. In many ways,...

Keep us updated Jenny..

I'll try to get back into modelling when my business tax returns are done... but before that, I need to do a few things first.

I'll let you have your victory - for now.

I don't want to see WSC and Volks playing tag with each other as they have done in years past... but knowing Volks, they won't be sitting pretty for too long as WSC releases new designs. It seems as though Volks is very burned out on FSS - they seemed to have heavily concentrated on making Fatima ki...

Most of you know how I feel about WSC's choice of armour detailing.... For those of you who don't, suffice to say that I hate it. The rounded edges of the torso, the undertailed hindside of the legs, the stumpiness of the overall sculpt is throwing me off. Not that this is bad by any means, - just n...

Originals/recasts?

Ask about their pricing, and whether they do mail order and charge tax. (probably will though..)

Most of the first Gen Gundam kits are sloppy. Their engineering was somewhat bleh from the time, and the proportions try to reflect that of the TV show, but I find that even then, it's often too stocky. The smaller kits IMO aren't worth getting. I'd say that none of the older run kits are. I hear th...
