Detailing aside, this FAC kit is actually looks good. Nicely proportioned.
i feel that the detailing is already quite good, esp. the feet portion, much better than the Atoll Scritti which i got

i do agree with happy though, cos i feel that the mermaid is wat brings the WSC Neptune to life, nevermind about the proportions of the rest of the body....

it's difficult to achieve the same uniformity using this method, cos if u spray the clear mixture too much in one area it will be darker compare to the rest of the part.

i've tried on my KOG.....

$34.70 USD for standard airmail via USPS for a 2kg package. I think that's quite cheap personally. Obviously FSS is lighter, so therefore, cheaper. But not by much.. maybe $20 USD? it's still a lot of difference compared to what E2046 charges for postage. my kits from them are quite ok, maybe those...

haha i would actually think the other way round, i won't mind some more work on pinning and assembly, cos the masking of SSS kits always freaked me out (i did 4 and that's enuf already :P )

though MM series is another killer...........

but u may grow to hate SSS kits in terms of the work u need to get the parts painted, esp. the amount of masking u need to do for airbrushing.
this is becos so many of the parts are cast in one piece, unlike normal Volks MM, AF or WSC kits which makes painting simpler (though assembly more pain)

Re: quick kit questions

Is volk' AF Led Mirage Full equipment type worth getting? also does it come with the swords? and how about volks' SSS Led Mirage Amaterasu? thanks they are quite old kits now, if it's only recasts i would suggest going for WSC kits instead, if u do not want to spend a fortune on the clear armor ver...

should be either WAVE or KOTOBUKIYA but would u really wanna build it with polycaps? i swear not to build another kit with polycap, after building my original VOLKS JUNCHOON Early Ver. MM. the kit just tries to topple because of the large shield, maybe it will be better with the Arkanna but i will m...

seems like hobbyfan has dropped their postage fee somewhat, but it can't beat E2046 postage price. quality wise, i guess both are around the same, i have got kits from both before, also able to get a missing part from a kit from Hobbyfan so their service is ok. +point for E2046 is their kits are alw...
