Yes, Luminous Mirage is the Knight of Gold in disguise. I hope you aren't too disappointed with being spoiled, John. ...First, T-233 is the new Boowray, now KoG-->Girlie Mirage... ...This is just TOO weird, I need a drink! Just before I lose all touch with sobiriety, I have to ask.... How exactly d...

...The Luminous is somehow supposed to actually be the Knight Of Gold???

I've never heard that before; I thought that these were two completely different machines; different frames, armor, engine power, etc. What gives?

Hi KOG. My apologies, I should have been more specific. The height is actually quite good... Just under 24cm to the top of the helmet, and roughly 28.5 to the top of the horns. I was in fact focussing on the extreme skinniness of the torso when I made my first post. To be perfectly fair, I simply LO...

Huh????

I'm almost afraid to ask what you mean by that sentence :|

1/100 Phantom kits--questions.

I just finally recieved my Volks SAV Scarlet Phantom kit today. Very beautiful work, I must say... But the kit suffers from "tiny syndrome", just like the Volks mighty series. Having said that, I've been looking over pictures of the Silicone Tribe Phantom model in an issue of Model Graphix, and I ha...

Personally, I'm just thrilled that we're seeing new sculpts from Volks, as opposed to reissues. I'll give a nodd to SAV as well; sturdy kits with nice detail and better joints than could have been acheived with the AF technique. As for the subject matter, I can't say that I'm overly-enthusiastic abo...

The only one I can remember distinctly is the MH Hangar within the Colus facilities when Junchoon was being overhauled. That very scene was made into a diorama kit, I believe by Kaiyodo, but I'm not certain.

I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised at their choice of reissues. Especially the KOG and Patriarch SSS. The newer clear-armored SAV kits just blow those out of the water... Albeit at a much higher price. As for the KOG and KOG AT... they are something entirely different from the V3s. Sure, the ...

yoohoo... KOG... fresh batch of shiny sliver boxes available 8) Either Volks is filling in time... or they have given up on new FSS resins. I'm hoping it's the former. They may simply have taken a page from the Work Shop Cast manual of GK production: invest a lot of time and care into making a fine...

Hi Elemental.

No, not quite, I'm just having fun test-fitting it. I must confess that I have a soft spot for the heavy MH designs though; they just seem so much more utilitarian and weathering-friendly because of their massive armored sections.

I just recieved a reply from Gundam Workshop regarding prices (I was interested in the Volks SAV Neptune kit.) 1/100 Volks SAV Siren Neptune: $340.00 cdn I enquired about shipping to Montreal as well, and I was told it'd be around $15.00. Add-on 7% for tax, and the tally jumps to $378.80  Not...

I've e-mailed these guys too, but they're certainly taking their sweet time responding to my e-mail  Personally, I'm a tad irritated that they couldn't/wouldn't provide a phone number: I could get the info I need about their stock in 3 minutes on the phone, rather than waiting 3 days+ for them...

An excellent topic. I can only offer a little input on this one. I had always thought of Amaterasu 84th's conquest of the Joker worlds as being very similar to the end of the Warring States period in Japan (which I think was the 1500's). Basically, Oda Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu (who w...
