You should really watch all of Evangelion. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best anime TV series ever made.

(Not to mention the most influential anime of its decade.)

P.S. - It's "bear in mind," not "bare in mind."

Re: Help is at hand

So, what info should the database hold? What does the visitor see? What info is displayed on that page? What links are there to click on? What options would the search tools have? I think the DB should be searchable by series title, year of release, and venue (game, tv, etc.). Oh, and SteamTrooper,...

Archangel Thunderbird had nothing to do with Evangelion. It was a BBC production with monster designs by Yasushi Nirasawa. I dont think Neil Gaiman was involved, though I could be wrong. If he was, it was only tangentially. As far as its availability on DVD, I havent seen it anywhere myself, though ...

Katsuhiro Otomo's memories is a beautiful, haunting, elegant piece of work. No mecha in it, though, so it doesnt really belong on this site. Robot Carnival, on the other hand, has several mecha in it (especially the Victorian, steam-powered, wood-and-brick super robots of "Tale of Two Robots") and i...

Luckily, between B-Club issue #100, the View Broadly Super Robots Book, the All Video Games Robots Encyclopedia book, and this page:

A lot of the work has already been done for us. Its just a matter of compiling it.

Project Suggestion: All Mecha Database

Hey all, I've been thinking... This site, being all about mecha, should really have a database of all the mecha sources we can think of. What Im suggesting here is that we compile nothing less than a complete database of ALL the mecha anime, manga, video games, RPGs, and whatever else we can come up...

VAF-6 Adam... By VAF-6 I assume you mean this? http://www.kent.net/robotech/mecha/ref/alpha_fighter.shtml That, sir, is NOT a Variable Fighter and it is NOT from Macross. What you are talking about is actually an AFC-01 "Legioss" from the anime "Genesis Climber Mospeada." When Macross, Southern Cro...

What's your favorite new Variable Fighter?

Just like the subject header says, guys -- What do you think is the best Variable Fighter, OTHER than the classic VF-1 Valkyrie?

I'll get the ball rolling with my favorite: the VF-2SS Valkyrie II from Macross II.

Here's a pic for ya. It is indeed coming from Yamato. And yes, its based on the new movie. http://anime-tourist.com/mig.php?currDir=./SDCC_04_Toys&pageType=image&image=sdcc_toy_110.jpg Here's a link to another website's forum. Re: Kits n more Kits

Of course, that kit you posted the link for isn't from Appleseed. Its very similar, but its actually from a video game Shirow did design work for. Its covered in some detail in Intron Depot 4. As for Landmate kits, there's supposed to be a high-end, super-articulated, high-priced Landmate action fig...

The 2036 designs are really badass, do they make models or toys for these designs? Hell no, they never made any toys nor models of that stuff. Macross 2036 was a video game which came out around the same time as the Macross II OVAs (in other words, its way old and obsolete). Considering that the MI...
